“Equity & Results has been a key partner with the Government Alliance on Race Equity and Race Forward. E&R's expertise integrating a results framework into our racial equity work with governmental jurisdictions has been critical. E&R's solid understanding of organizations, racial equity and focusing on impacts in the community, along with E&R's responsiveness, understanding, humor, and grace means that they have been an incredible asset on multiple projects. I highly recommend Equity & Results to any organization, especially those focused on eliminating racial inequities.”

“It made me reflect on the work of my organization on a deeper level and further enhanced my desire to be a bold leader of color that represents and elevates the voices of our participants and staff members who identify as BIPOC. I've reflected on just how many things our organization is involved in and how we've assumed there was need in communities rather than asking what the need was. The root cause analysis made me dive deeply into the work of my particular programs and focus on what we can do to best serve our participants and make sure our teams' voices are heard more.”

“The most powerful learning came from watching the facilitators, live! You all are individually brilliant, and collectively powerful. I feel like I learned techniques on how to hold the room in difficult moments. How to balance invitation of vulnerability and also respect people's time. Also how to create context or case study for difficult concepts, using accessible mediums. I particularly appreciated the way the white leadership within your team modeled what public accountability for what anti-racism should look like, in real-time. It created a reference point for explicit ways we can encourage white allies in our container to be accomplices, in service to anti-racism.”

“Mapping hot roots multiple layers deep releases dreams for bigger bolder freedoms of those most oppressed and marginalized - it takes me out of my immediate microcosm and focuses my attention on the community/city/world at large.”

In a city that is majority persons of color, and that has high unemployment and wealth disparities, Albuquerque's City Alive has identified supporting immigrants, refugees, and entrepreneurs of color as a priority to foster economic development broadly and promote equity for its more vulnerable citizens. City Alive partners analyze how the city can best use policies, resources, and institutions to make Albuquerque the friendliest place for a person of color to become or thrive as an entrepreneur - we would not be able to do this important and critical work without the knowledge, skill-set, and expertise of Equity & Results. With their crucial coaching and facilitation we are able to ground our efforts in real time data and honor our commitment of addressing racial and income disparity head on. Equity & Result's support helps City Alive collective impact partners identify gaps and barriers that may prevent entrepreneurs from success and recommend policy changes... We simply could not do our work without them.”
